The November cover of Texas Monthly dropped Friday, revealing an issue devoted to the state’s energy renaissance and the millionaires it’s creating.
The issue begins hitting subscribers’ mailboxes this weekend and will arrive on newsstands Oct. 24. The content will publish on TexasMonthly.com on Oct. 23.
The issue’s features include “The Energy Hunter”, a look at oil legend George Mitchell’s contribution to the current oil boom, and “Y’all smell that? That’s the Smell of Money”, one man’s story of chasing riches in South Texas.
On Nov. 19, the magazine is hosting an expert panel discussion on the shale oil and gas boom and its sustainability. RSVP is required to attend the event, which is being held at Rice University at 6 p.m.
