We’ve become used to advertisements on shopping carts. Gas station islands have become more of a space for promoting the coffee and donuts inside than pumping gas.
At a time when you think every square inch has been taken over by an ad, there’s one more — the space between the escalators at OTC.
At every escalator bank, there are stick-on ads plastered up and down the full length of the moving stairs touting “WorleyParsons” and “Intecsea” at booth 2105. It’s hard to avoid the signs as you move around the Reliant Center.
“It’s another break through,” said one convention goer as he headed off the escalator and onto the exhibit floor.
