A bit of advertising irony

The folks at Grist pointed out this 1960s ad from Humble Oil, now part of Exxon Mobil.
Even if Exxon was still headed by Lee Raymond and he was vociferously denying man-made-climate change, I don’t think this ad would fly today. The caption reads: “Each day Humble supplies enough energy to melt 7 million tons of glacier!”
