Gulf oil/gas production surging back

The Minerals Management Service’s daily production update says about 30.8 percent of the Gulf of Mexico’s oil production and 7.6 percent of the natural gas production remains shut-in one day after Tropical Storm Ida passed through.
That’s a good bounce-back from yesterday’s shut-in data: 43 percent of Gulf oil production and 27.9 percent of the natural gas production.
Put another way: Yaaaawwwwnnn.
Oil and Gas Journal notes a lack of stimuli is pulling oil and gas markets downward.
