Another guilty plea in Mexican oil smuggling case

Another executive pleaded guilty in a Houston court today in the case of stolen Mexican oil being sold in Texas, according to our colleagues at the San Antonio Express News:

Arnoldo Maldonado of Y Oil and Gas was released on unsecured bond pending sentencing after entering the plea to conspiracy to knowingly receive petroleum condensate, court records show.
The documents said Maldonado helped others, between January and March, arrange for at least 22 tanker trucks to transport condensate from Mexico into the United States, knowing it was stolen.

This has been a somewhat bizarre case with some Houston ties.
