The North American nat gas train keeps on rolling

Many people may think Exxon Mobil is just “Big Oil,” but they’re trying just as hard to be “Big Gas” as the Chronicle’s Kristen Hays reports (with video).
It’s all part of the big boom of new gas exploration in the U.S. that has taken off in the last few years which, when combined with the economic slowdown, has put prices down pretty low. The whole process has created some challenges for the Alaskan natural gas pipeline too, reports the Anchorage Daily News (not that the planned project doesn’t already have issues.
