CERAWeek: A dry sense of humor

Some high-profile delegates with the CERAWeek conference had a rude awakening today.
For about two-and-a-half hours, the water was not working in half of the Westin Galleria Hotel, where the conference is being held and key presenters and organizers are staying.
Hotel officials told one conference representative that the outage may have had something to do with thunderstorms that moved through Tuesday night.
It was unclear if former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroder and other dignitaries in town for the event were affected.
As the conference representative joked, it didn’t appear by the time today’s sessions got under way that any delegates were noticeably unclean.
