Cooper Valves acquires ball valve maker Accuseal

Cooper Valves, an 8-decade-old valve manufacturer headquartered in Stafford, has acquired Houston-based Accuseal, which makes metal-seated ball valves used in engineering and mining.

The companies did not disclose financial terms of the deal.

The acquired company will operate under the name Cooper Accuseal.

Cooper Valves has manufactured exotic and nickel alloy valves since 1934.

It said in a statement that Cooper Accuseal’s products will allow it to pursue “a wider range of industrial markets, including power generation and mining and materials.”
