Randalls and Exxon Mobil are partners on a new fuel-rewards program.
Randalls shoppers can get fuel reward points when they buy groceries, pharmacy products and other items. The new loyalty program started a few weeks ago and had its official launch Wednesday.
Shoppers who have a Randalls Remarkable Card will receive one point per dollar spent on eligible purchases. For every 100 points earned, they get a 10 cent per gallon reward for Exxon Mobil fuel.
They can use a maximum of 20 cents per gallon in rewards on a single fill-up at any participating Exxon or Mobil location with a maximum of 25 gallons.
Randalls shoppers who purchase qualifying gift cards receive two points per dollar spent.
“It’s giving Randalls customers the opportunity to make everyday purchases count,” said Ronnie Brennan, vice president of retail merchandising execution for Randalls and Tom Thumb. “We’re teaming with Exxon Mobil to reward our customers for two critical frequent purchases, fuel and groceries.”
Randalls customers can redeem their rewards points with a swipe of a Remarkable Card at the pump before fueling.
Kroger and Shell have a similar fuel rewards program.
Randalls has 31 Houston-area stores and is owned by Pleasanton, Calif.-based Safeway.
