ConocoPhillips boosts dividend to 69 cents

 

HOUSTON (AP) — ConocoPhillips said Thursday that its board boosted the oil and gas company’s quarterly dividend by 4.5 percent to 69 cents.

The dividend will be paid on Sept. 3 to shareholders of record as of July 22.

ConocoPhillips said the increase is part of its plan to boost value for shareholders through a strong portfolio, focused capital investments, better returns on capital and a strong dividend.

Its shares rose 56 cents to $64.09 in morning trading.
