Chesapeake sues Cameron over fracking equipment

Cameron International Corp. is being sued by Chesapeake Energy Corp. for alleged wellhead equipment failure.

Chesapeake alleges that equipment used in hydraulic fracturing caused a discharge of fluid at a well in Pennsylvania, Cameron said in a filing today. Chesapeake filed the suit April 16 in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, according to the filing.
