As it prepares to move into a new campus north of Houston, Exxon Mobil Corp. has started looking for buyers for its 35-acre chemical facility in the Energy Corridor.

The property, which houses ExxonMobil Chemical Co., includes an office building and conference center totaling 352,170 square feet, according to HFF, which is marketing the property at 13501 Katy Freeway.

The complex is set squarely in the center of all things energy, next to the BP America Headquarters and across Interstate 10 from ConocoPhillips and Shell Oil’s North American Exploration and Productions headquarters.

Exxon Mobil has already sold its downtown Houston building, and last week it put its 117-acre Fairfax, Va. campus on the market.
