New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s administration is expected to lift what has been a de facto moratorium on hydraulic fracturing in the state, The New York Times is saying in a report that cites people familiar with the situation.
The online story also says the administration is discussing keeping the ban on fracking inside New York City’s upstate watershed and a watershed used by the city of Syracuse.
